    FUTUREPRENEURS®

**AN ENTREPRENEUR CONFERENCE FOR YOUTHS**

WHO ARE WE?

FUTUREPRENEURS® formerly "The Brother-to-Brother and Sister-to-Sister Conference: An Entrepreneur Conference for Youths” was organized to foster an awareness of entrepreneurship in youths ranging from 4-17 years of age.  It is the first entrepreneur conference to take youths at such an early age.  We are  a non-profit (501(c)3) organization incorporated in the state of Ohio.

What we do, when, where and how we do it

The Conference purpose is to plan and develop strategies, processes and activities that will help youths use entrepreneurship as a viable career choice equal to the already established choice of working for someone else.  It serves as a resource for youths to gain awareness of providing goods and services for a fee, an alternative way of making a living in lieu of working for someone else.  We partner activities with the Dayton Public School System, Sinclair Community College , RION, RION & RION, Eta Phi Beta Business Sorority and local businesses to offer the most adequate opportunities available to meet the Conference objectives.  We do this simply by doing the following:

1.  We hold an annual conference  to provide in-depth workshop that are carefully chosen to support our mission and to integrate entrepreneurship into the Conference youths academia.  All workshops are facilitated and sponsored by an Entrepreneur.  One of the main purpose of the Conference is for youths to gets face-to-face and actual familiarity with an entrepreneur.  The workshops are broken down into FUTUREPRENEURS…

a.       Weepreneurs, ages 4-8

b.       Prepreneurs, ages 9-12

c.       Teenpreneurs, ages 13-17

2.  We make sure that entrepreneurs, specifically local ones, are available on an as-needed-basis so that the Conference youths may confer with them, as appropriate, at any given time.  The appropriateness includes assisting the Conference youths with ideas and actual start-ups of small businesses, such as writing obtainable business plans.

WHY AGES 4-17?

We seek to create an environment where the youngest are encourage to have the most adequate creative and innovative mind possible – the earlier, the better.  Our vision is to start youths to thinking ‘entrepreneurship’ as early as possible.  Since it is so popular for preschoolers to take their academic career more seriously at 4-years-old, it makes it even more appropriate to integrate entrepreneurship into their academic career.

OUR MISSION

We will support the growth and wholesome development of youths and help prepare them for their future economic journey by making sure they are aware that there is more to stimulating the economy than just merely spending money.  Our Conference will make them aware of how start-up enterprises or small business can stimulate the growth of any community.
